Not too many Brits who were into the Grateful Dead. Jerry Garcia was their lead guitarist and singer,a true original genius, and great all round human being. The Dead attained massive cult status in America. Later in life, Jerry did a lot of that kind of folky stuff. I think the Dead are the only band with their own forum on HF. Deservedly so IMO. The best band ever. By a mile.
