I don't honestly know what the solution is.

The people who are xenophobic Trumpians statistically inspire more terrorist attacks. Their solutions are half-informed nonsense.

But it's not like there's anything to negotiate about. ISIL literally wants the destruction of the west, and advocate killing all non-Muslims. But it's not like they check id's before these attacks... they're just as likely to kill Muslims. There's very little to negotiate about your right to exist.

Doing nothing isn't an option. I think we've got to stop pretending like the May government is good at counter-terrorism. I've heard about three of these attacks in two months, and each time they talk about how good at intelligence the UK is. At what point do we call bullshit on that? Security in the UK is being poorly managed. Period.

His party is financed by hard left unions (inter alia) who have brought trains in the UK to a crashing halt recently and who, basically, want to bring the country down and install hard left rule. The Labour Party is also the party of more or less unlimited immigration, which is radically changing the British landscape. Their arch foes, the Conservatives, are the lesser of evils and will win on Thursday (ironically the day dedicated to the hammer of Thor)

hundreds of thousands - I read that about 98.5% of killed Muslims were killed by other Muslims. Who, for example, is ISIS killing during their PCP-like rage romps around the place - mostly MUSLIMS. Who was Saddam killing - Kuwaitis and Kurds (muslims) - Shia vs Sunni (Muslim version of Hatfields vs McCoys) rule in the killing fields. The west can kill 24/7 - they'll never catch up with Muslim killers unless they go strategic.

There isnt really equality in racial diversity, we are ok with giving immigrants a chance, as long as they stay taxi drivers or 7 Eleven clerks.

I mentioned The Philippines to puffnstuff, as its the same thing just not on the rest of the worlds doorstep. Duterte's trrops will no doubt go in , wipe out thousands, tens of thousands of islamic militants (and their families) in Mindanao.

Its the same shit, they want thier own islamic state, which that in itself is bullshit, its mostly about males in that 15 to 35 yr range destined for mediocrity that want to control / rape girls / women, own an ak47, steal and loot stuff, seem more important than they otherwise would have been.

The rest of the world wont give a shit if Duterte slaughters them all, at best will pretend to give a shit, you will barely see it amongst top stories on BBC or CNN.

Every country in my region will turn a blind eye, because no one here wants it on their doorstep



Only a week or so ago I saw a poster on the back of a bus for the food crisis in Ethiopia, I thought shit, my entire life, the last 40 years I have been hearing about oh we should do something about the famine in Ethiopia, how hard would that be to fix if the rest of the world actually put its mind to it. Not very hard at all, and yet......

There are people in this world who give up creature comforts to go directly to the source and volunteer. There are medical professionals who risk their lives in places like Syria with organizations like Doctors without Borders..just really exceptional people who dedicate their entire lives to helping others

Most of us aren't that exceptional though, and there are limitations to throwing money at a problem. A lot of charities use more donations for overhead than they do actually helping anyone. When that White Helmet documentary came out on Netflix there was a way to donate directly to them, I briefly considered it because the Syrian war is something i've followed closely, I wanted to help, blah blah

But it took like two minutes of researching the White Helmets to learn of a possible Al-Nusra connection. Fuuuck.

I know Puff thought she was being very clever, insulting ol' Melania, but she kinda proved my point when she said my donation would end up in the hands of a terrorist organization

And so I guess most of us who arent exceptional enough to truly dedicate our lives to improving others' lives just go buy our soy lattes and change our facebook pictures in solidarity
