This band are from Sheffield, but they have a London sound and southern accents.

Formed in London. Saw them play a small underground club in Barnet in 1999, minus Natasha Atlas. She is an Egyptian singer who sang on a few of their tracks, all my favourites. Beautiful voice. I love the Arabic musical scale, turns out there are way more than 12 boring semitones in an octave than we originally thought..

It was a fucking ace night with great music and dancing, and in between sets the band hung out with the crowd.
