I always wanted to go to that place in Denmark made from Legos. Now there are a bunch around the world, but I still haven't made it yet.
I used to teach Legos. Lego Logo, Lego Techniques, Mindstorms, stuff like that. We started with programming Legos on Apple IIs then went on to Windows machines. A lot of fun, I must have thousands of dollars in Legos. Here's one version:
For the entry price of one adult ticket , never mind a whole family, you could buy a fair amount of Lego especially if you chose second hand or went on line. I don't get the idea of kits. They were not generally around when I was a kid. Once Weetabix had a special offer for Lego castle that my parents bought for me and my younger sister. We built it once, kept it for a few days then dismantled it and became part the Lego collection. I thought the original idea of Lego was a means to express fantasy.
i made a kind of half way robot vacuum cleaner with leggo tekniks back in the day, with my vic-20 controlling it by wire. no pictures. i don't think i had a camera at the time. this was in about the mid 80s.
