Someone told my daughter that Logan was rated R because of nudity. Is that true or is it the violence?
me..i said it...I don't believe for a second that you knew nothing about this movie.... but if you didnt I would explain it like this some people have to attend horrible movies with their ol ladies...because they are heavily whipped..
i saw this trailer for deadpool on youtube, at least i think that's what it was, that had this guy climbing up a rope ladder that was his own intestines out of some boiling soup pot or crucible of molten lava or something. vaguely amusing, but not exactly anything i would go to a movie house to pay to see. (and i also had to wonder; if the guy was supposed to be that indestructible, how and why would he ever get himself into that kind of situation unless he was really not very bright)
I'm waiting for the Squirrel Girl movie. She has the strength and speed relative to a squirrel. ? Also has defeated Wolveine, Deadpool, Dr Doom, Thanos, and world eating Galactus. Most likely a reality warping god who manifests her power through squirrels.
but can she tame the mutant space goat that ate the b-arc? also why does she have to look so human. i mean seriously.
Deadpool was fucking hilarious, and Wolverine was always violent. Do you have any idea what the source material is like? I have zero faith in your review, and quite frankly, you sound like zero fun.
Not my type of movie, but I'll never understand getting so worked up over a movie you claim to hate and have no interest in. People bitch about "new" movies, "new" music, "new" everything, millennials running this...ruining that...everything new sucks and everything when I was young was perfect. I saw 47 Meters Down and thought it was terrible. And then I moved on with my life. Why spend time talking about something I hate? Anyway, Rough Night looks pretty fun. I think I'll see that this weekend.
I thought Logan was fantastic. Hugh Jackman , and Patrick Stewart were great. The story was excellent. As a matter of fact, it got an Oscar nomination for the screenplay. The young lady who played X-23 was brilliant. She’s a complex character who should get her own movie at some time in the near future. The end scene was heartbreaking and beautiful. It’s the best film based on a comic book character I’ve ever seen. The R rating is mostly for the swearing. Lots of F-bombs. Yes, it’s violent, but it’s Wolverine and X-23!!! Of course it’s violent!
Its better if you dig X-men in the first place. All those movies refer to each other, so you're already missing half of it if Logan is your first.
