Locker Room Nudity

More and more it seems that showering after exercise other than when you are back at home happens less and less. In recent years 'basic' gyms with minimal showers have opened, where most people arrive ready to exercise and do not take a shower before going back home.

 

Perhaps it says something about my school days that hardly any comments were made about the few times boys had erections.

 

Grade 7 last day of school we had a very small school with really cool teachers we had a food fight we all wore white shits to have people write on them PE was almost last we started boning up soon everyone, so we had a quick circle jerk. It was a "blast"

 

Just the other day I completed my workout the the Y. Headed to the locker room and undressed. Had to piss so I went to the urinal nude. Then slipped on my swim suit and hit the sauna. (being the Y is now coed nudity is frowned upon in the common areas) Time up in the sauna and I hit the showers, nude of course. Used to be open showers but a few years ago they put up stalls. They're too small for my comfort so I leave the curtain open.

I've been to many a Y across the nation. There are still some, the older ones, that have open showers, no stalls. A few years ago I was in one in southern Louisiana. The locker room and shower area was open into one big room. No stalls except for shitting. You undress or dress, shower, piss, shave, right out in the open for all to see. Where the modesty among same sex people comes from I have no idea. I don't even care if the opposite sex sees me nude. All the other creatures on this earth don't have a problem being seen not wearing clothes. Why should we?

 

I like the old style men's locker rooms. Open showers, nudity the norm in the showers, sauna, jacuzzi, etc.

 

This started when feminists started demanding admittance to male only clubs, gyms, etc.
I hate those new gyms, many of which don't even have showers.

 

Open showers have more space in my view, especially as not all are in use.

 

I never had to hide a erection. Most happened at home so I would just masturbate. I always thought girls had it easier to hide being aroused. I grew up going to the YMCA a lot and I was very self conscious about my dick. Not only was I extremely small both length and girth but I had literally no pubes until I turned 13 and still barely had any for a another year. I remember seeing my classmates and felt insecure so i would shower in trunks and change in an empty corner or a stall. I remember measuring myself and I wasn't even 3" fully erect and by this time I was 14. Something happened though within a few months I still didn't have much pubes but my erection was close to 7" and by that time I didn't go to the Y as much as I started working (odd jobs) but the thing was I was really short still like 5'2'' (and was for like 3 years) but then I grew 8" in 6 months towards the end of my freshmen year.

I still was never very comfortable in the shower in front of guys because honestly I get erections a lot and still happens honestly. I really didn't want a bunch of guys I know seeing me hard and even worse I didn't want them seeing me flaccid because that is almost worse IMO.

 

Soccer shorts can be HOT especially free balling! There was three of us that would go free balling then to my house after to relive ourselves after.

I think those wimpy kids that were reluctant about getting nude in public….I think something happened to them that made them uncomfortable….

Growing up in the 70s shorts were either super small or so puffy not baggy but like big gap in the legs you often saw EVERYTHING!
