Speaking as a retiree with a check from the government . . and as one who likes the idea of an income sharing place, or a place with cottage industries/businesses . . Where is land cheap? Virginia, Missouri? What about the SW, as in New Mexico? As for urban living, I wonder where a shared house with a big yard possible? You know, with lax zoning laws.
