they are both harmful. but the difference is that the vast majority of people do not find DXM addictive at all, and many dont even like it.

heroin seems to be more universally tempting and addictive.

i have used DXM multiple times and say so without shame. it was my first drug, and i have had at least one VERY interesting and significant experience with it.

but it is very destructive when abused, and it is, in my opinion, a novelty at best, and i do not recommend it to anybody. i may very likely never try it again. then again in a year or two i may find myself ready to give it a go again (so far its been 3 years i think since i last used DXM, my first time was at 15, and it was NEVER a regular thing for me)

it really isnt worthwhile, and imo not very enjoyable.

heroin i have never tried, but i have used other opiates. in all honesty, i would really love to try it in one form or another (hopefully never injection) but even if the opportunity presents itself i hope i never do use it. i have found opiates to be IMMENSELY pleasurable just when taken orally - i can only imagine how wonderful they must be when smoked or insufflated or, worse yet, injected.

Colin Id have to say, that nothing compares to morphine or stronger insufflated. Injection is too much in my opinion, I've had it with Dilaudid when my lung collapsed but it was like as soon as the medicine went in, my throat locked up and I couldnt speak, I felt paralyzed, then it was 15 minutes or so of feeling totally pain free and at peace, but wore off so quickly. Now obviouly heroin is going to last a few minutes longer, insufflated it's heavy for between 30 minute and an hour, especially if you havent developed a tolerance, and lingers with the euphoric nodding like it does if you take opiates orally.
But for the initial rush, truly nothing comes close to being that awesome lol.
It is definitley better to avoid it all together, as once you know what it's like, taking pharm. opiates orally is truly never the same again.

 

I sort of had to stop hanging out with a lot of my friends because they all became pillheads... now I've been with them the past week and have been on them everyday and wasting sooo much money. I'm remembering why I chose to distance myself from those who became druggies.

Just make sure your connection to it knows what they are talking about.
Typically in our area, you'll get powder, and it's usually $10.00 for a .1 bag, which should be 2-4 bumps worth for a first timer. ALWAYS be careful and test a tiny bit before you go all out.
