For quite a while me and my brother from another mother. We had been planning on taking off from the country that we live in and somehow make it to Canada by foot. To build a cabin there and live off of the land away from Urban areas. And having the closest town about 30 - 50 Miles away from where we are going to live... Had anyone ever thought of that?:hippy:

I have 160 acres waiting for me in the middle of nowhere. I can build on it as soon as I can afford a 2nd home.

I think the real question is: who hasn't thought of doing that?

Anyone who actually hasn't thought of doing that, please don't respond.

Yeah, cuz if you don't think like us free thinkers and open minded people we don't want to hear it.

Lol.. Sorry Jo, I really don't mean to get up your ass.. I'm not sure if I'm making a subconscious habit of doing so, or if you're just losing sleep...

I was actually just being a sarcastic bigot in order to try and cling on to any shreds of self respect that would have ultimately been torn to shreds if anyone said "Actually.. I've never thought of doing that".

In all honesty, I couldn't give a shit anyway... and I live with 3 people who probably haven't thought of doing that.
No.. I lie, they probably have thought about it, but seeing as they're all shit scared of harmless moths, or getting frizzy hair, I can't ever see them thinking that they'd actually do it.

    Relax, sir :2thumbsup:

We actually encourage people to do this and to not have passports when they enter our country.

Most people here do not mind squatters as they help keep our paid for land up to standards and it saves us from shoveling the snow off of acres at a time.

I live 30 miles away from the closest town right now. But I still consider it to be too close to civilization.

My ultimate goal is to live at Crater Lake, OR and be a couple hours from a major town.

Yep :) I just do not believe that human beings or animals were created to hold name tags or IDs

I sometimes wish I had my own island off the coast of Maine.

generally, when i think of things like that, i assume that i'll drive a majority of the distance. i like hiking, but that might be a bit more than i'm really interested in.

i'm sure they weren't created to pee or poop either; sometimes existence just has little side effects.

Most of the side effects happening on earth is because of human beings going off course. Now it would be quite silly to think that living creatures from the smallest Insect to the biggest mammal living on earth were not created to pee or poop. That is part of the life cycle for all living creatures, For that is how they get rid of waste and extra minerals that their body does not need!:)
