Asking people who have, or do live there. I know some folks who lived there, they said it was expensive and mainlander Americans were treated poorly. Hoping this isn't true, as I'm "considering the source" lolz How can I move there and live reasonably? And, is there specifics I need to know?
I grew up in Hawaii for four years, and went back as an adult. If you go there without a good plan, they will likely ship you right back to the mainland. There are people who live in the jungle, but there are also 20 exotic ways to die, and it helps to know how to avoid them. The natives are tribal, and most people have no clue what that even means.
