Apparently a Disgruntled Employee Did it I think its sad http://www.cbsnews.com/news/virginia-police-shooting-live-television-news-report/
I just started following this. Someone I know on another forum was saying his girlfriend was on her way to school on the road where they were chasing the suspect. It also seems as last I read the shooter has shot himself. He also videotaped his perpetration and execution of the shooting then posted it to Facebook. C/S, Rev J
his video dont click if youre a fuddyduddy https://www.************/terrirobin/videos/o.671497032995781/10207942023172688/?type=2&theater another link if you dont like facebook ones http://concealednation.org/2015/08/warning-extremely-graphic-va-gunman-uploads-video-of-shooting-from-his-perspective-lingered-before-pulling-trigger/
Such an unlikely place for such a thing to happen. Nice, peaceful area. Unbelievable. The shooter is dead. He was one of those people who always blamed all his problems in life on racism. He admitted online that he had anger management issues also. He was booted from that job more than a year ago, and said that he decided to take action because of the racial shooting in Charleston, SC last month. The deceased cameraman's fiance watched it all from the TV station control room, and the reporter had just recently moved in with one of the evening news anchors.
They're taking down the videos as fast as they can. Another nut job with a gun. Hurray! Hurray, for the NRA!
It's hard to believe that he stood there with that gun and none of them even glanced at him before he started shooting.
It's kind of weird because statistically it is usually unhinged, straight, white dudes who pull shit like this. In the passages from his manifesto that were published he was talking about race wars etc. C/S, Rev J
yeah at first i thought "what is he waiting for?"... then i realized he is also a news guy and he knew it was live so he was waiting for the cameraman to pan back and place the subjects in the shot
In its own twisted way it makes sense. I'm waiting for some sick fuck to say "Racial Profiling could've prevented this". Too soon? I'm sorry. I'm also being sarcastic and making fun of NRA types who think we should arm the masses. Or conspiracy theorists who are going to say it is a government set up so they can take our guns away. C/S, Rev J
I just watched the gunmans footage and I'm simply amazed that 2 reporters and a film guy did not see this person hold a gun pointed towards them. He took it out. He aimed. He walked around less than a meter from them pointing it. Put it back. Then pulled and fired point blank and I still think he kinda missed the first few because she ran away.
the narrow vision of most these people that work for the media. they cant spot reality if it bit them in the face. ..
It may be that we are growing accustomed to seeing guns in public due to the people who insist on showing up everywhere with small arms, rifles, and shotguns in full view...just because that's their right. After all, if someone pulls out a weapon on a public street and starts flashing it around, you have no legal right in many states to confront them as they have a right to openly carry it if they want. It's not a crime until they start shooting.
camera man has major tunnel vision while working...all he sees is what is in the lens reporter is focussed on questions and staging etc....same as interviewee plus the lady is excited and nervous for being on live tv also you have to remember the reporter and camera guy both have producers and background staff yapping in their earpiece while theyre doing a live shoot .. lots of distraction...they were broadcasting live feed...not just recording a segment for later use
Well I think there'll be some sort of personal security around television crews now though I'm surprised there already isn't. I didn't know it was possible to get so close to TV crews before.
