Here is a thought in the next 50 years if all goes well and with a bit of luck computers will advance tremendously. Say it to most scientists that it may be possible to live within a computer within coming 50 years and no one will give you an definite no.

I would guesstimate that most ppl around here are under thirties which would mean that one of the ppl who read this may exit for hundreds if not millions of years, you could become the oldest consciousness in existence in coming years. This is a possibility within your reality yes the one that you get up and go to the office in the morning the one that you fill your gas tank each week... Such possibility for paramount change in experience and growth that could be had is outstanding. When i stopped and thought about it it totally mindfucked me i could have only lived 0.001...% of my life so far!

I doubt the government will let just anybody live for that long, though.
You're going to have to have some pretty decent coin behind you I'd say.

i can see major bumps in the road in the next 50 years that might interupt or delay that scenario. (famine and disease from climate change sort of disrupting everything, though advancement will eventually resume after)

in a previous life, there was a computer more ancient then any sapient life now living, and a backup copy of my soul, along with those of thousands of others, were/are stored in it.
