It seems like the live Grateful Dead music is much better than the not live stuff. This seems the same for Phish too. EDIT: But then again, some music is better than none at all.
it depends. if a band/artist is extremely talented then their live shows are much better than their studio records.
The Grateful Dead and Phish have both triumphed in the studio.....we can't deny this.. (Blues for Allah, and Round Room for example).....but i do enjoy seeing going and experiencing live music....and playing live music....as EMPATHY said, if their talented, it should be better live...
