And under Sharia a man must dress like a man and a woman like a woman under pain of death... again.

    No jeans!

A comprehensive philosophy of nature is no longer part of our everyday lives?!?!?!

    WHAT?!?!

I think he was drunk. That sounds like a drunk typing out a whole bunch of bullshit, and that is something I am VERY familiar with.

All because Descartes' been debunked. God. There's a bit of melodrama.

What if that group's ultimate goal is to revoke everyone else's freedom to assemble and worship as they please?

Well I mean the bible says some of the same wacky stuff, and if he feels like converting good on him.

But the Headscarf and Sharia? I have no idea why anyone would defend those.

Posthumous^ I know thats scary, but there are too many people who would disagree. Besides, isnt every religion doing so?

The goal of Christianity and Islam is inherintly convert the infedels, and if they don't kill them. That's why they spread as they did.

Why restrict a church now just because it's a less popular religion? It's a cruel bias against a growing religion out of cultural fearmongering. Let them have their giant mosque superdome.

It'll never win as many converts in a free country as free thought and sexual liberation. [IMG]

Not only is every religion doing so, but you are doing so. Its the interplay of power and the struggle for power.

Why do you have a picture of a naked blonde lady in your sig?

A lot of people will say that such interplay is the inevitable interaction of our species with no two ways around it.

True, Christainity has been a political force for 1,500 years, and they did countless unspeakable things to nonbelievers in that span. Just don't wish to see that return in any form. Thank God for separation of church and state.

    lol I thanked God [IMG]

O/T That Muslim chick and I went to San Fran for a conference. She had a bad argument with her husband back in Dallas over the phone when we were at lunch, and she was so pissed that she wanted me to get her drunk. Of course that is a big no-no for a Muslim, and she had never had a sip of alcohol in her life. As she constantly flirted with me at work I knew where it would lead (and adultery would have gotten her beheaded in Algeria). I did talk her out of it, even though she was pretty damn hot. I wouldn't sleep with a married woman, but that's pretty tempting. It's the innocent taboo thing that gets me. And angering someone elses god too.

Actually... I dated a married woman for a while, but it was kinda a different dynamic.

You're damn right it's tempting when a pretty young thing tells you to sleep with her. Funny thing is I was dating an Asian from work at the time, whom was her friend, so it would have been cheating on me too. That place was like a multicultural sanctuary for hot chicks lol :D

Oh I feel you. there are a lot of really great looking Ethiopian and Bosnian girls where I work. My boss is like a 30 year old hot brunette from Bosnia who is single.

Should I try to date my boss I ask myself?
