gotta problem? no thats not true i was just wondering what people on the hipforums prefered besides hippie music...and by hippie music i put it in quotes because im talking about steryotypical hippie music
oh and also tie dye isnt limited to "hippies" practically every person i know wears tie dye ...i also think you guys are taking this thread way to seriously it wasnt meant to offend anyone, and chuck i think you're being the hypocrite...after we resolve things you act like you don't care and you don't have a problem with me...obviously you do so don't resolve things with someone if you don't really mean it
Other than The Grateful Dead, there is no "stereotypical hippie" music. A stereotypical hippie wouldn't want to be famous or be part of society. Which, by those guidelines, would make no such thing as stereotypical hippie music.
I just found it annoying that you make fun of hippies but yet wear tiedye... you wouldn't even know what tiedye is if it werent for the hippie movement of the 60s.
i wasn't making fun of hippies...like i said since this was the hipforums i was wondering what music people enjoyed that wasnt perceived as hippie music through the media and what not...it wasn't WHAT IS hippie music...just what it is seen as....but anyway i think we just resolved all of this AGAIN (HAHA) on msn oh and believe it or not tie dye did not originate in 1960's america. it actually goes way back to ancient cultures where dyers in numerous different countries would experiment with different bindings on cloth to create patterns.
