maybe she did.. but I'm glad she's getting help now.. even if she was doing it to boost her career she obviously wants help finally or she would have just kept it hidden longer...

 

she was an idiot because people tried to warn her of her condition, and she kept shrugging it off and denying anything was wrong.

 

because when you have anorexia/bulimia you don't think there is anything wrong with you...
when you look into the mirror you don't see what everyone else sees you see what you precieve yourself to look like.. she thought she was obviously bigger than what she wanted and that's all she saw...

she just fell into the peer/society pressure that most people in the spotlight do. compared to the other rakes in hollywood she was chubby and she caved like most of them do and joined the sheep flock and became a rake herself. sad sad sad.

 

it might have not have been all about her being famous either she's had a pretty crazy life.. she might just be trying to contol some aspect of her life... by controling what she put in her mouth or by controling what came out..
it's not always about weight..

who knows...
but I just don't think it is right to judge when we have no clue what's going on in her head..

i think the fact she went blonde kind of supports her desperately trying to fit in.

she couldnt just be gorgeous as a red head? which she was... blonde does nothing for her. what a cop out

 

it was probably the mind state she was in.. believe me not eating makes you do weird things..

she has changed it back to red since then...

 

they are celebrities, they should handle all the shit we critics give em.

 

i looked this up online.. couldn't find anything reporting her admitting she had a problem, but i did find an older article saying she was preparing for a role in "fashionistas" where she had to be uberskinny and blonde. *shrug*

there is a LOT of pressure to be perfect and pretty (and to most ppl this means being thin, tan, and blonde) though, and not just when you're constantly being photographed and judged and rated on your looks.

 

she did report it .. it was on one of the celeb news shows...

and her having to do that movie does explain the blonde hair....
but she really does have an ED..(Eating Disorder)

dunno hollie... i kinda agree with madcrappie. its not like before someone goes and becomes a celebrity that they dont KNOW what is gonna happen...
you know, pressure and gossip and all that. you have to expect that... and i think when you're getting paid that much... well..... it goes with the territory. insensitive? not really.

yes but you people are making judgments about something you know nothing about obviously...
this may have happend to her regardless if she's famous or not.. the point is, is that no one knows what is really going on...

the media does have a problem with getting girls to be sensitive about their weight..... you never see an overweight model, not many fat actresses... its easier to get a skinny actress and put her in a weight suit than to have a fat actress to act skinny....... (it would take quite a bit of digital effects). girls in magazines, women on tv, all relatively skinny........ there is alot of pressure on girls these days....... not like in the 50s where curvy women were beautiful......

but to feel sorry for lindsey lohan for the way people talk about her, it just comes with the territory...... they have to deal with all of that. people get picked on all the time, they get comments from people how fat or skinny you are....... just because they are a celebrity, people have to be easy on them?? no..... they have to deal with the gossip and the critiques...

 

Well now you've admitted it i cant really rip on you for it... although i have a feeling that there is something else that appeals to you about her aside from her "fine piece of ass" i dont really know what that could be because i dont really know who she is...
