Lilly Allen

I've only heard a couple of her songs (Smile and LDN) and I think they're both canny actually. If I'd heard 'Smile' on the radio all the time, it would of drove me mad probably, but luckily I don't listen to radio shows with set playlists. So whenever I did catch it, it was nice.

As far as how she dresses or acts or anything goes, I can't really say, never pay much attention to that sort of thing. She's releasing music, judge her on that. Not her fashion sense or owt.

But since it has been brought up, I don't know how well off Keith Allen is exactly. I'm sure he has a bit of cash, but I doubt he's 'elite' or anything. Also, when I first heard of Lily Allen, it was in an article saying her dad was estranged. I know they're not now, but it may not of always been the case.

 

Oh and, I think her voice is really sweet! Wether the accent is put on or not, it sounds rather lovely if you ask me..."Sun is in the sky oh why oh why would I wanna be anywhere else"...I really dig the little wobble on 'anywhere' - It's a little reminisant of Fiona Apple's wobbles...

How very dare you! Wash your mouth out with bleach and water! Dido's amazing, talented, sexy, has a great voice and was wicked in Faithless. Actually I like her backing work in Faithless better than her solo stuff, really complements their sound. To compare her unfavourably to Lilly Allen is blasphemy....

 

Dido, is a depressing plain singer, all her songs sound alike, oh that reminds me hang on
