I like it as a way to acknowledge someone's response to me if I've got nothing further to say. Or if I think someone has made a good point.. it seems better than posting to say "I agree" ...But knowing a lot of people agree with something gives it more weight. Which can be dangerous. Actually my instinct is you're right and it's unhealthy.. but HF seems like the most intelligent use of such a feature I've seen.. Like, people seem genuine with it and Like what they agree with rather than WHO they like best. I don't know, I'm going to think hard on it.
I don't mainly like posts i agree with. I rather post that in words. I do notice a like often gets assumed as agreement. But this is wrong. Posts get liked for all kinds of reasons.
Like away Like away. It's all good. Just popped into my head in a split second of ambivalence so I wrote it up. No preconceived notion. It's always a dive into the unknown here that's why I like this place.
From whose Bourne no one returns. Shakespeare was my worst subject at Uni. I mean to read him in my retirement. That is if I can get my career started and earn a retirement. But if I make it to sixty five all I'll really want is a quite room with some candles, acoustic guitar and a few difficult books. Hey makes failure sound romantic.
