God, I love lightening storms, but living in California I don't see to many of them.

yer right tho, we do get a lot of dust storms, which suck big time.

you probably got it a lot worse than we do here in Bakersfield. You lived out in the desert right? It gets hella hot out there and the dust storms suck way worse than what we get here.

ridgecrest, thats where i thought it was but didnt want to guess the wrong thing. Hmmm? Dont think I have had the pleasure of visiting that wonderful town.

 

well there is like 5 bars. and a walmart. and a bowling alley. I think thats it.

 

wow!! they even have a WalMart? woohooo!

 

The rumor is a home depot too........one skate shop, no head shop. No actual bookstore, just a second hand one.

 

thats it! I just decided that my next road trip will be a wonderful weekend in the lovely town of Ridgecrest.

 

Cool. Habiibs is the best liquor store in town!!!!!!

COrner of ridgecrest blvd and chinalake blvd. In front of the movie theater. I thin its actually called one stop...but everyone caslls it habiibs.

 

and just why do they call it habiibs crummy?? lol

 

Habiib is the guy that runs it. he sells liquor- porn, gives loans and sells used cars. A true American....an Arab American. Best prices in town too.
