That was really interesting to watch and hopefully the research continues with promising results. Too many suffer from this in our society.
I often wonder about stuff such as Alzheimer, is it really just that thanks to modern medicine we simply live longer than the original specs allowed for? technically we should die relativity shortly after our robust reproductive viability has dwindled, but thanks to modern medicine we now routinely live 30-40 years longer than our genetic blueprint is designed for. We often make the erroneous assumption that "quality of life" is some important metric, it isn't, reproduction and advancement of a species are the only real metrics nature follows. but the research is cool and intriguing.
