Well, the free range crap does tend to taste better once in a while when it comes to veal. All lamb is free-range, and from New Zealand anyhow. Regular beef tastes the same no matter what though. The beef that lives in a box is cheaper though.
It's super easy and I use whole-wheat pastry flour, so it's great for breakfast. I traded some of my candles for some some spices today, one of them was marsala and ginger. I am going to use it in my next batch. I have a recipe in CrummyRummy's forum (for the plain kind, so you can use whatever you want).
is that different from regular whole wheat flour? I have the kind from King Arthur. or is this more refined than regular whole wheat?
Yes. Meat. Love it. Life would be much less interesting without. I mean really. Why do vegetarians do it to themselves? (Didn't read the thread.)
mmmmmm. meat. love vegetarian dishes, though. i just like food. also, i like the texture of tofu. dunno why. but it gives me a vicious belly ache.
Can't stand the texture of tofu. Like eating a sponge. However, some vegetarian food is good. Gado gado, for example, is super tasty and awesome. All it needs is a bit of chicken!
Well, considering the fact that some of them are slowly killing themselves off with their diet... I'd say that they are indeed doing society a service.
My favorite is when they declare their kids vegan/vegetarian, like on House. Way to kill off your infant child, hippies. Besides, cows are bad for the environment with all their farting and that.
Yes, good job choosing your child's diet against the child's will. One day that child will taste meat in a friend's house and will never go back. Cows are bad, but eating them promotes to there being more cows "produced". Maybe vegetarians just want all animals humans consume to go extinct? It has to be some kind of a subconscious desire to kill off every cow, chicken, pig, or fish in the world. Maybe they were viciously mauled by a goat or had their fingers bitten off by a barracuda as young children.
i'd be sad if i had to live without ever eating meat again. especially if i could never again eat lamb or chicken. hell, even beef and pork, when properly prepared, as fucking heavenly. and then theres fish....salmon and grouper and dolphin fish and marlin, swordfish, and shark...mmmmmm tasty the other day i went to a party. big turkey they smoked, as well as a couple tenderloins they smoked.....the poultry was exquisite, and the beef was incredibly tender and delicious. mmmmm, meat, bread, veggies, and red wine
thats mostly just vegans. personally, as much as i love meat, it should be eaten with great reservation. ideal would be maybe three meals a week containing meat. this would be better for health and for ecological reasons. anyway, if you're consuming such things as dairy, at least there is a substantial financial return on the animal, and a persistant one, making it feasible to keep the animal alive. vegetarians are alright by me, but vegans seem deluded and destructive. if everyone in the world became vegan overnight, cows would become extinct very rapidly. they are so domesticated they could never really return to a life as a wild animal, unlike pigs. without humans, the modern livestock cattle would all die off. without some financial return on keeping the livestock, be it from selling meat or selling dairy products, the people could not afford to feed and shelter the cattle. if everyone suddenly stopped using any products of animal origin, the cattle would all be wiped out in one fell swoop, far more effectively than eating a few of them.
Shit, I don't think that 3 meals a week is enough. Hell, on certain days I eat more meat than anything else. I'm about to cook some chicken, with a side of chicken. I do eat my veggies though. Yeah, I really don't mind vegetarians, especially those who don't get offended by my shit-talking or don't act all high and mighty because they're vegetarians. I still think that they're complete faggots though. Vegans are idiots. Plain and simply. Fuck vegans. I hope they all die. If everyone stopped using products of animal origin human kind would be pushed back a good 100-200 years, if not more. Then we'll all just die from the next disease because we won't be able to create a vaccine.
I saw a documentary about a real couple that went to jail because they're vegan-dieted child died from malnutrition.
