You can't let it get you down though. You have to find little ways to stay positive!

 

I love a good parade!

Life allows for opportunity and meaning, whereas non-exististance allows for nothing. Yes life can be hard, but there are moments that are precious, as the first love, first child, true friends who will be with you till the end, and just those moments of wow. Those moments when you see something and you think wow that was amazing. That moment can be anything, someone helping someone they don't know, something beautiful and amazing, or just the fact that we are even alive. Throughout your life you'll make mistakes and people will be cruel but you can make it better. You have the ability to make life enjoyable. That is the true beauty of life, we can make it better.

Life isn't meaningless at all. I look forward to being dead, actually. I'm not in a hurry to die or leave life unaccomplished. But I am sure being dead will be the most meaningful aspects of our existences.

Why does there have to be meaning? Who cares about meaning, just try to have fun once in a while, read a good book, you know... get baked with some friends,
try not to sweat the small shit... and remember, it's all small shit.

 

Well, when I have to change the potty chair Mama has suddenly started using (for no real reason actually...she can get up and down) ...it isn't ALL small shit.

Also...you can make anything, experience or whatever painful...OR you can make the choice to enjoy it. Even the bad parts, because you know those too shall pass. That's for damn sure what I'm doing.

That potty chair is HELL and gets old fast, especially when it isn't necessary...but whatever...I know there is meaning to all of this life, potty chair included.

 

Personally I Would Throw Out The Potty Chair And Just Spread A Liberal Coating Of "Araldite" On

I can't for the life of me figure out what araldite is.

I can't even get her to take her pain pills for the broken arm for fear she might not "go" ENOUGH!!! She shits like a goose, which I've reminded her of and even told her it wouldn't KILL her to go less than 3 times a day. good grief

The pursuit of happiness (and the spreading of happiness) along with the setting of goals and the pursuit of those goals give life meaning. In the end some people's lives were basically meaningless because nothing made them happy and they had no goals.

 

It depends on the person. Your life might indeed feel as meaningless as that of a dung beetle. Does that make it suck by default? Does it mean your existence is meaningless to others (or yourself)? Also depends on the person. If you feel unsatisfied by your meaningless life maybe change something.

All order is artificial. And temporary. Just like most certainties do not last a lifetime. Except death. Death is inevitable. So what? It's how this universe seems to work

 

If the price of love is death then the point of life is love.

That's all. Everything else is some pointless bullshit dreamed up by less than intelligent humans. Just love your people and ignore all the bullshit.

I'm reading Harry potter for the 18th time and just got to the part in the half blood prince whereDumbledore is trippin on Harry's ability to love, so I'm all about love right now.
