Anyways I just got home. Had a good day aside from this fucking bullshit. But I just stopped at the weed store and grabbed some Alien OG which was only 18% so I was like meh but it was on sale and tomorrow is sale day across the board so I was like fuck it I'll just pick up 2g of this Alien OG to hold me over till tomorrow then I'll grab what I really want on sale tomorrow. Smell is fairly decent but not nearly as strong as so many of the other OG's I've had in my life. So I just smoked two rips out of a bong... my GOD is it tasty and I am high as fuck. Legit high as fuck. Higher than I've been off some 20+% shit for sure.

I think it just goes to show you there's a lot of complex chemistry going on with this plant and the ratios and interplay of cannabinoids and terpenes. I just twisted a fat doob of it but I may hold off to spark it for an hour or two cause I'm actually surprisingly baked right now

I'm not too concerned at all, I only smoke a few bowls a day. I also don't believe the picture. It's just of two lungs. One says cigarette the other says marijuana. But we have no idea of the circumstances surrounding them. Like, what.. Were those two lungs belong to a person who stayed in a cell until they died to get those "accurate" results? I doubt it. I don't think just because one lung has a build up of tar and they smoke weed that that's a scientific fact all of a sudden, they probably spin their weed with tobacco anyway like most people do (not me though). So then they're getting the "4x" from weed plus the normal from tobacco.

 

Yeah plus it's not as simple as tar = lung cancer.

In the largest study ever done on cannabis only smokers it was found to actually reduce risk of lung cancer and also found to not cause COPD.

Yeah I'm not sure how those tar deposition studies are done, but it wouldn't surprise me if they were skewed. Lots of stoners also hold the smoke in a long time, which would allow for more tar deposition. Then you have old studies like the one that used forced-smoke inhalation on monkeys and concluded that marijuana kills brain cells, but without any accommodation for the oxygen loss. So basically, I wouldn't be too worried, lol.
