Yeah, I just finished watching Criss Angel doing it on TV. Plus, he made two women levitate, as well. It was a mind trip.
yes thats what I saw too, which inspired this thread...... I still cant grasp how he did it..... and I just dont know how trick photography or angles or anything like that could have figured into it.
I have actually seen home videos of people levitating objects. Not that sleek David Copperfield-like bullshit, which probably isn't even real. It's all about mind over matter.
keyword. VIDEOS. until i see some concrete proof, no more then 10 feet away from me, i will not believe it.
These were very unprofessional, unproduced videos. What these guys were doing would have been impossible without fairly elaborate stage equipment. You can't lift a grand piano with hair-thin wire, let alone bend a spoon just by looking at it.
I think that people who have incredible mind power are able to levitate stuff, I saw videos too, but, I'm sceptical.. I read that cameras around stop the whole concentration process needed in order to do such things, so that's why I'm not sure about the filmed stuff, but, but... I still think that it's possible, with huge mind power.
I need to go to vegas to see him in action first-hand..... I cant trust watching it on video, because you can do tons of things with special effects and whatnot...... and all of those people could be trained actors to make it look like they are shocked when he levitates off the ground
Criss Angel - seen those shows, not sure how to take them. I am a fan of Circle Of Dust, AngelDust, and Celldweller among other projects he was involved in. Great industrial metal - Circle Of Dust. Definitely great Doom playing music...
i remember reading that david blaine uses levers to do his levitation tricks. IM convinced its all camera tricks, and that all of the people are just actors. theres no possible way otherwise. Chris Angel says he has complete control of his muscles, but this doesnt explain how hes able to defy the laws of gravity wiht his muscles.
I guess he's kind of like Pro Wrestling... You know it is pre-determined and the object is to NOT cause harm, Camera angles, etc., but its entertaining so you suspend disbelief.
