I nipped out the car for something and now I'm sat here waiting for monstrous down poor to stop, and get back before they think I've gone home. Lol
'Phew !!! - my kitchen and bathroom is a back extension built onto this property, so I have a flat roof which is bitumenised. The brickwork faces north-west so I get the sun on it all afternoon and evening. At 22.00 last night it was over 38 oC in my kitchen and that's without me doing any cooking !!! In fact I couldn't stay in my kitchen for more than a few minutes. Here in my lounge, even with an air cooler going full blast all afternoon and evening, when I went to bed last night, my room thermostat read 28 oC.
