Yes Candy darlin' - it is complicated, because I am Diabetic but also I have Thrombocytopenia. One of the things they do to alleviate atrial Fibrillation is to insert a stent into the heart via a vein in the wrist. However, according to what the Consultant said, to do this they have to lower the red cells in my blood. Having thrombocytopenia which already lowers the red cell count is, in my case, a very risky thing to do.
