Hi from down under we have a colloquialism for anit-panic down these parts it's called "sit a while - sip a while and keep the talk short sharp and crisp" - bit like on here. Is there life after death ? - of course there is even life after life but that's sometimes harder to find - chew a cheeroot and sit a while?

Yes Friday the 13th today. Not sure where some of the superstition derived from. I will do some research later.
it came from the supposed history of christianity. judas was the 13th decipal. its totally crazy all the things that have been done and not done because of it; no 13 months of 28 days each (with 4-3/4 intercalery days to even up the year), no 13th floor on a lot of buildings tall enough to have one (no floor called the 13th), just a lot of crazy stuff. i've almost always had relatively good luck on such days, when there was anything to have luck about at all. the only unlucky thing i've ever had associated with that number is the number of years we'd been married when my wife died 3 days after our 13th anniversary.
I thought Friday the 13 was when they rounded up the nights Templar’s , I suppose there are many theories.
According to folklore historian Donald Dossey, the unlucky nature of the number "13" originated with a Norse myth about 12 gods having a dinner party in Valhalla. The trickster god Loki, who was not invited, arrived as the 13th guest and arranged for Höðr to shoot Balder with a mistletoe-tipped arrow.
What is the real story of Friday the 13th? On Friday, October 13, 1307, officers of King Philip IV of France arrested hundreds of the Knights Templar, a powerful religious and military order formed in the 12th century for the defense of the Holy Land.
