I am fed up with Covid stuff. Let's talk something else. Like Valentine's is soon. Or Pancake day. I always forget Pancake day.
Never heard of Pancake Day. Not celebrated in the US. I looked it up and saw it's on March 1st this year. Okay I'll have pancakes that day.
Let's talk about tattoos. Here's one of mine. Not professional. I did it myself one night. I was high and it was before tattoos were common on women! Who else has one or knows of one they admire?
Ancient black diamond possibly from space to fetch millions A three-billion-year-old 555.55 carat black diamond likely formed in space is expected to fetch almost $10 million when it goes to auction.
I'm not into religion in any way, shape or form, but any excuse for a decent nosh (in this case pancakes) is ok with me !!!
What is the difference between Pancake Day and Shrove Tuesday? Pancake Day, or Shrove Tuesday, is the traditional feast day before the start of Lent on Ash Wednesday. ... In 2021 Shrove Tuesday will fall on February 16th. Shrove Tuesday was the last opportunity to use up eggs and fats before embarking on the Lenten fast and pancakes are the perfect way of using up these ingredients.
my religeon has never been catholic christianity. but i did belong to one for forty years, (Baha'i) who's 19 day month of fasting, followed its four (five in a leap year) intercalary days (which were its gift giving and feasting equivalent of christmas) like the islamist ramadan, this fast was during the day. after sunset each day, followers ate, hydrated, even smoked, which they had avoided doing from sun up to sun set. (although without gorging themselves until after it was over) i wonder if Sikh'is, buddhists, hindus, shintoists, et al, do that's like that. i think most beliefs have some sort of thing that is a kind of purification fasting.
