The semester is wrapped. I didn't take any of my finals - just let the grades drop and finish the term with two Bs and a C. I will get 5 degrees in the next several weeks or months, depending on how fast the campus is processing them. I'm going to have to reach out to them at some point and ask. I contacted the counseling department about it, but they referred me to admissions & records (who are obv closed on Saturdays).

My girlfriend is a princess. I love her & hope and pray every day that there's a way to marry. But unfortunately that doesn't seem to be in the cards. She may come visit, but I don't think she'll ever live here. And unless I'm 100% able to support her, a family, etc. who can blame her. It's a challenge too because her family would not take it lightly. She's the baby.

That sounds adventurous! I thought about something like that. What if my girlfriend came here? She could have a store & I'd do the accounting! But there would be no time for that. We'd need to outsource the bookkeeping because I'm starting work on Monday. LOL!

 

I would like to propose.. She's an angel, but she's very much younger. I don't think she's ready, to be honest. Her sister is getting married though, so I bet she thinks about it.

 

Your family are no doubt all very proud of you SC. You have more commitment to book than Harry Potter.

My new job is a phone center one, but it pays well enough. I mentioned accounting during the interview though and the supervisor/interviewer said their is a possibility for advancement contingent on performance.

 

I've already started my Xmas - a friend brought me some Brie Cheese & a Bottle of Port - spread the cheese on some 'Carr's Cheese melts', topped it with some onion chutney and am now wasking it down with a glass of Port. Earlier this afternoon I made a Mincemeat Fruit Loaf. When its fully cool, will cut me off a slice or two before I turn my attention to my sweeties.
