Thanks! I realize that now, too and may have to order an extra pair.. since now I have more of a reason to wear them!

 

Hill areas in Connecticut were a bit nippy this morning, too. On the day where we had our absolute earliest sunrise, if going by the second (5:15 AM for Hartford). I saw 42 in Keene, NH.

It was 45 when i woke up at 6 in central Pennsylvania

 

it was 44 at my place

Not a cloud in the sky here. Sunset at 8:27 or so. Laundry needs to get done however. Such a buzzkill!

I got mine all done yesterday. Clothes, blankets, linens.

I have a pork roast in the freezer, but i ahould have gottenit out to thaw last night

 

Mine is Gammon.

Gammon isn't popular here. It all gets smoked and cured.

 

I roast mine with maple syrup.

 

Should have studded it with cloves Candy darlin' and instead of Maple Syrup - use some good Honey - Honey roast Ham - delicious. And if there is any left over - can make Ham sandwiches served with pickled onions - also delicious !!!

 

I do that sometimes. I vary on my mood.

 

Im not wild about clove. For me, a little goes a long way.
Id soak it in apple juice and keep it basted with it as well.

 

I have done that with orange juice.

Maple syrup is very expensive in the UK.
