Then they are breaking the rules and if they can so can we by sending them back as its not the first safe country they come to, so we send them back as its these country's that are breaking the rules.

I am of course getting at the fact that covid-19 has replaced everything else and that has taken political choices such as 'freedom' and 'human rights' out of the equation.

Perhaps the so-called civilized countries could put pressure for social reform and eliminate corruption on the countries the refugees are leaving more of them would want to stay home. Until people are free and feel safe, they will look to greener pastures.
