so... I'm not majoring in math, or relying on a sociology degree right now; though I very well may have an Associate of Arts in Sociology soon. I know I told you all I have a bachelors of science in accounting, and while technically true there's something you don't know about it. I cheated. A lot. I'm sorry to all of you for essentially lying; particularly @Sierra who I know tried to relate to me and may have noticed I don't exactly have the lingo down...

What I've done to try and fix this is contacted the university that issued the degree and told them about my academic dishonesty. They will revoke the degree at some point.

What I've also done is sign up for an AS in Accounting program at my school so that when I want access to an accounting job I can point to a legitimate degree and the experience I have in the accounting department at a non profit I used to work for.

It's for the best & I was ready to say goodbye to it. I told my parents and explained that in part I just wanted everyone to be at ease and think that I'd finished college and wouldn't need anything any more. But it was nagging in the back of my mind that I'd lied. I knew I needed to come clean.

I'm sorry.

 

I guess I should get to the point of all that I just said...

I want to be capable of sponsoring my gf's visa, and possibly starting a family together. It's important to me to be a provider, so I might take an accounting job at some point.

Right now though, I have lots of school ahead. My schedule for next semester has Elementary Russian, and two required courses from my Associate of Science in accounting program: Computer Applications, and Introduction to Accounting.

Maybe I will finally understand Unearned Revenue.
