Let's talk magic

I'm gonna start by saying I'm not really interested in presenting an out of context point or opinion for you to consider.

I'm interested in magic. I'm not talking slight of hand, though that's cool too and maybe relevant.

I also want to branch from talking about magic in the context of established arts, belief systems, and frameworks, though obviously those are all extremely relevant too.

I would very much like to initiate a space here where we can talk about magic in as technical or as intuitive of terms as is appropriate to get to the essence of the matter.

The goal, ultimately, is to enrich each others' perspectives by having an open conversation about what magic is and how to pursue it. And it would be really cool if a more focused discussion group actually evolved out of this.

So, if anyone else out there feels the same, has questions, musings, knowledge, anecdotes, or opinions about magic, and wants to seek out a better understanding together without adherence to specific frameworks, speak your peace! Excited to talk.
