maybe she needs exercise? Throw her in a hamster ball to run off some of that energy. What kind of stuff do you give her to chew on? Chew stones and wood chews are best for their teeth. As for the cardboard tubes, I gave them to my hamster and she lived a normal hamster life. So I don't think they are bad for them :S

I have a log in there made out of afalfa that I bought for her to chew on and the little hard "carrots" she loves those she eats them very fast.
I have a ball for her but she now knows how to get out of it. I loved watching her run I was thinking about getting her one of the wheels that go in cage but must have money for that. she likes to burrow in her bedding and my friend told me when he use to have hamsters he would fill most of the cage up with bedding and the hamster would burrow and have fun for hours so I'm trying that today.

sunflower, id say definitely get one of those cage wheels. i had a hamster who was the same, she spent most of her life trying to escape by climbing her water bottle. but she also ran in her wheel a ton.

 

yeah, when i had a hammy we'd put sooo much sawdust and ripped up loo roll or something, she'd burrow and dig and make nests and allsorts. kept her amused =]

 

i have 3 pairs of tights on and i really need to pee.
