lets talk about....

I have a question for you Europeans.
So when ya wake up in the morning...ya make tea???? Is our coffee...like yalls tea??? Okay like I dont do the hot tea thing at all. Im southern so it is sweet ice tea for me if I even drink it at all. I dont get yalls thing with tea. Please explain. I just imagine you guys sitting around all proper having tea time.

 

Lol yep tea it is People drink coffee too (well I don't coz it's minging ) but that's quite often for an 11 o'clock pick-me-up whereas tea is more of an all-day thing

 

lol, Callie you make me laugh. I'm English, but I only drink tea very rarely, just when I'm ill usually, and then it's usually herbal teas. I am a coffee person, I drink coffee pretty much every morning as long as I have time, I love my coffee. My mother drinks about 30 cups of tea a day though I think! That's what it seems like anyway.

Yes I agree, I know this sounds stupid, but I've always been fascinated by how different people look from different countries. I remember when I first came to Germany I had the feeling everyone was staring at me and they all seemed to look very different to English people. And last week when I was in Spain I was struck again by the difference in appearance to here, they all seemed titchy! I actually felt tall

Good luck Mandy!!! Things are tough here too. Everyone losing their jobs and homes....sadness! Luckily it hasnt effected us too much, my hubbies job is rather secure for now.

 

It hadn't really occurred to me that British people look British until I came here.... hehe am I right in thinking no-one does ugly quite like the British?! haha

 

aw man thats scary callie! im glad your hubby is secure with his job. yeah times are rough! luckily i still have my job....but my hours have been cut sooooo much that i cant pay bills! my water might get turned off today! lol. im trying to keep a sense of humor about it.

 

not to be rude...but what is up with some British folks and their teeth???? is whitening not big over there ????? Cept for you Amy...you have lovely teeth!!!!

 

ughhhh....I can live without many things, but water is not one of them. we had an ice storm and lost power (I have a well, so that also meant no water for me) it sucked big balls. i am no laura ingalls wilder!

 

hahaha I haven't seen a dentist for over ten years, that explains my teeth!
