oh thats a great idea! I have been keeping an eye out for ballets and childrens theater productions. Hopefully soon there will be one in my area. I think today I'll go hit up Blockbuster and find a ballet. Perhaps the nutcracker would be a good starter! Oh now im excited. Amaras biggest interest is animals right now. Shes so into dinosaurs and always talking about being a paleontologist. Im stoked cuz I found a archeology kids camp for her this summer at the local college! I know its not paleontology but its a start!

oh sorry bout your sis smelly! i have a feeling dance just isnt what she [my daughter] expected. She looooves freestyling on her own...and when she tries to do that in class her teacher tells her to get back in line! Its pretty funny. Maybe hip hop would be more up her alley!

oeeeee, I wonder what my son will like! he likes to grab our dog, he's fascinated w him. Although at 6months he's fascinated by most things^.^I so wanted to be Julia Styles in save the last dance, even though she was way prettier in 10 things I hate about you. Geeez Heath was divine in that movie, can you believe it's been over a year. So sad, when he won the Oscar for dark knight though, it wasn't as emotional as I was hoping/expecting. Anywayyyy, geez that was a tangent, where was I...?

lol at the pushy parents brigade ;) The very first thing I can remember voicing an interest in being was an artist, at like age 5 or 6, and whenever we had to draw stuff in class I'd always end up doing other people's drawings for them too, and the teacher always gave me more complicated things coz I was good at it. Then because I was bright too, all the emphasis got pushed to my academic side. I think my dad wanted me to be doing design really (coz he invents things :D) but somehow by the end of school I think great things were expected of me. The first surprising let-down was me just choosing dietetics at uni rather than medicine or something big, follwed by me quitting in the second year....then surprise surprise, bumming around working in video stores and bookshops and trying to do something with my artwork. I wish people had just followed my indications from early on instead of pushing their own ideas of what I should do upon me.

I hope that I was able to do this for my daughter. I think I did a pretty good job. When we homeschooled, she picked out our "unit studies", subjects that she wanted to study and we would do every type of project we could around the topic she chose. It was alot of fun and we learned a very wide variety of things.

my parents never gave out to us if we did badly in school. I never studied for school. I dont think you should have to force yourself to learn something. I was interested in art, music and english so I put all my concentration into those subjects. Those teachers loved me and I was top of the school in those subjects:Dthen in maths, history and Irish I was just god awful and those teachers thought I was a rebel, good for nothing so and so. I spent most of my days in art class. I had this amazing teacher who I'm still friends w today:)I think I kind of fell in love w her^.^so I'm an artist/photographer/clothes designer/film maker/whatever I wanna do to make some dough and my brother is a dummer in an amazing band:)
my sisters are hardcore studiers though, actually I'm waiting for them right now. They're in the library being nerds. I want them to come watch factory girl w meee and paint pictures for the fair!

I dont wanna be a pushy mom at all. Boo. Its just hard when your child voices an interest in many things...and so you be as frugal as you can so as to afford classes with this and that and then after dumping the dough they decide...oh yeah thats not for me! argh. I guess thats my own fault though. I was really excited when she wanted to take dance class...and went a little overboard buying the cutest hand made ballerina outfits. Ill have to post pics...theyre just so magical! maybe I can sew them all together and make a patchy fairy skirt for myself! ooooh now the wheels are turning!
I looooove Heath ledger! he was one sexy man! I used to work in an office eons ago with my best friend....and we collaged the entire office with Heath Ledger pics. I think customers were a little creeped when they came in! lol. Maybe thats why we got fired? Hmmm....

do something physical when you start craving. Start jogging or walking regularly. The more active you are the less likely youll want to smoke because the exercise will release happy endorphins, youll feel great, youll be amazed at how much better you can breathe....and you wont wanna fuck that up. Im happy for you! Its not easy. But as long as you stay determined you can do it! It does get easier with time too. After a couple of months it wont be so bad.

yey for sunshine^-^summers creeping and I'm excited:)

poor Amy, I'm just getting over a cold. My whole family had it, but then when you get better you realli appriciate little things like being able to breathe through your nose!
And yess, I do have quite a magical life. I think it's Ireland realli. It's a lot easier to get your work out there and find fun things to do. There are so many hidden treats in this city^-^I also, have always been just a strong minded person. I know myself well and know what I want and tbh, I just always seem to get it!
I think it's positive thinking^-^I wanted to find my true love and I have and I wanted to have a baby young and get married and live a creative life and thats what I'm doing. I'm so happy! When I was pregnant everyone was telling me to get so many drugs and crap in labor, saying that there was no way I could handle it. My mama had 4 awful labors but I just kept thinking positive. I wanted to do it all natural and just believed that I could handle it. I also didn't wanna go overdue! On my due date, it was just so perfect! I felt slight pains, when they got a bit more painful we went into the hospital and 3 hours later he was in my arms! It wasn't that sore at all, I actually loved giving birth. It was by far the best experience of my life:)
Everyone on here seems to have pretty amazing lives though. I'm buying a tipi this summer which I am soooo excited about! I'm going to 3 festivals in it and selling the things I make. Yeyyy <3
