Im right with ya sista'. I think my family prefers my locks over my green Mohawk I sported for years! Now when they see me they just shake their heads. Im 35.. past the stage of phases.
However my family is very typical john deere driving, cow raising, farmers from Virginia.

 

So, I put a wrap in my hair with some left over sock yarn (knitting yarn). The wrap is over a bunch of loose hair that hasn't even started to dread yet so for now it is pretty pink/yellow. Kind of blends in with my hair

Onto something completely unrelated....

omg there are soooo many enoooooorrrmous icicles around here at the moment! Nearly every house has a great row of them. I saw one today which was easily over a metre long...I keep nearly swerving off the road saying "omg looooooook!!!!!"

 

i remember when i was liddle, my older bro used to snap icicles off the shed roof for me to suck...

 

Mmmm creosote ice-lolly I tried one from a tree the other day and it was quite tasty Never seen tree icicles before....I call them tricicles

 

nomnomnom,I just made a HUGE chocolate cake w/ pink icing. It's called Luxy's kiss of death cuz there is soo much sugar! For dindins I made sweet potato, carrot&blood orange stew to make up for it^.^

Try ribena and honey, or lemon and honey, not the lemsip stuff, just lemon juice and honey in just boiled water or put ribena in hot water... Its been proven to soothe sore throats Heard it on the radio xD But its nice anyway If you don't have any lemsip that is ^^
