It's worse than ming, it's bloody 'orrible lol And a real nuisance. It also seems to have very little to do with the rest of my body's temperature. There have actually been times where I've been hot, but a random finger has decided to just die on me.
Just been looking through the pics I was out taking...not the best focus I've ever achieved! But it's hard with thick woolly mittens and the sensation of a large vehicle driving over your hands

I dunno....it gets pretty bad these days. Down to about -6 -7 degrees is just a fairly general "hmm my fingers hurt, but that's normal" kinda sensation, but at -15 it's more like "I'm almost crying with pain and I'm scared to look at my fingers incase they've actually burst open with bloody icicles" - seriously like just bashing your fingers with a hammer. And since being in Norway it's begun to happen to my toes for the first time. Previously they would just get very very cold and hurt a lot, but the blood never left them, whereas now it does.
It's a bit limiting sometimes, especially as I garden etc and live somewhere with real winters. Did your ex's hands ever go through the bright red with blue spots phase as they warmed back up? Did the fingers always "go" in the same order?

Snow ROCKS!! Just been driving (test next month), still a good 6 inches on the side roads Broom broom!!
Went past the footy pitches and suddenly the car got nailed by 100's of snow balls. If it wasn;t for the hard one I wouldn't o done anything but one was...

So ... I pull into the side, ask my dad if I can get em.. slam on the brakes, jump out the car... by this point about 10 are running away but because of the wall one couldnt see me...
Ran straight for him, slipped as he moved out the way and hurt my pinky on his jacket!!
The look on his face was priceless... Glad I didn't deck him...

The doc's ok but you have to pay. I usually take ginkgo biloba, which helps a little, but I think the last batch I ordered was a bad one coz it did sod-all. Everything here is expensive. OMG I completely forgot to have a rant...

The other day I went to get some tea-tree oil for the dready super soak thing, but was informed I'd have to go to Sweden (only half an hour away, so a reasonable thing to say lol) becuase Norway's laws about the strength of things is stricter. WTF?!!! Tea tree oil?!?! What do they think I'm gonna do with it? Oh sure you can by cigarettes and chewing tobacco (illegal in many other places) and alcohol but no tea tree oil oh noooo no that would be far to strong for Norwegians. Stupid bloody place lol. So I had to settle for some kind of "citrus tea tree" mild substitute thing which stinks of cleaning fluid. Blaah.

Umm...oh yeah snow...the snow here doesn't make snowballs It's too powdery and cold and dry. It's more like sand on the roads. Will look into the nifipediwotsit for next winter - thanks for the tip.
