I drive: 2003 v6 Honda Accord Coupe. It is red with tan leather interior and tortoiseshell and chrome and black leather accents. It has a sunroof and 6 disc changer. I love it dearly. I did not pay for it. Gas is too expensive.

 

I have a 1988 Corolla w/ a stick shift. Unfortunately, the most i've ever been able to coax out of that car is about 35 mpg. Nonetheless it's been a decent car so far (I acqired it last December).
If ever I get the chance to acquire a 'classic,' I would like to get a 1965-1969 Chevy Corvair.

 

I drive a 1993 GMC Sonoma. It does 0 to 60 in 20 minutes.

 

You're getting a decent ride. Just make sure the maintenance is taken care of-especially oil and lube. In case you didn't know, that 307 was derived from the 283, which was probably one of the better V8s that Chevy produced. These engines should be fairly easy to work on. If you want to try to improve gas mileage you may wish to do any of the following:
Make sure the engine is tuned up-it may be worthwile to replace the ignition system with an electronic module.
You may want to replace the carburetor with a 4-barrel unit thereby reducing fuel consumption at cruising speeds. Be warned, though, that if you kick in the secondaries, your fuel consumption will soar!
There is a device on the market called the Tornado, which claims to reduce fuel consumption and boost power to some degree. While I don't know how true those claims are, it may be worth looking into.

I drive a 1990 Nissan pathfinder!! In its prime.. It was the pathfinder with every single option.. Most people seem to think it is a 94-96 because of the features it suprisely has for a late model car.. I have never once had any mechanical problems and have owned the car for 60,000 miles.. The previous owner never once had any mechanical problems as well.. Still driving the original clutch (no joke).. I am now at 180,000 miles =D I know a few people with other nissans that have rolled over 3x on the same motor!!

I dont plan on getting a new car till this one bites the dust.. Why start making payments on a new car when my baby has been so good to me =P In a few more years.. My audio system will be worth more then the car itself =D



This is just life my suv, excapt mine has fender flares.. aftermarker fog lights.. 31 inch All terrian tires..

It does really well offroad..

I have a 1996 Chrysler LHS, its drama gold, kind of a pimp car color, it is fully loaded. It was a gift for me, from my then husband, how sweet of him to give me the car for christmas, and how nice it was for him to later during our divorce expect me to pay for it. (ha on him, i dont have to).

anyways, this piece of shit that cost him $15,999.00 with 55 k miles on it , has caused me nothing but trouble, water pump, timing belt, motor mounts, etc and so on and so on.

cant really complain tho, it gets me from point A to point B, and i dont have a car payment.

 

I have a 1996 Ford Aspire. It's def. nothing special, but it gets good gas mileage and has lots of room for my bike and skis, etc. since it's a hatchback. I pay no attention to what kind of car someone drives, unless I see a Hummer and that usually pisses me off.

 

I don't have a car but my husband has two that we share (he had them since before we started dating). A camaro, which he bought off his parents, and a pontiac fiero, which is his hobby car.

 

I have an '82 Huffy with training wheels. It's a piece of shit, but it gets decent gas mileage.

 

the only car that isn't crap is a railroad car. and the price of gas is still way too cheep, at least in the u.s.

Peaceman69, just find a totalled out 1994-1995 Caprice 9c1 patrol car and remove the motor, tranny, computer and rearend. You will have 300+HP and easily 20 MPG


I have 2 cars 1 is my baby bought it new in 1995 and love her to pieces. Its a 1995 Impala SS. Black with Grey leather interior. I have an SSRI cold air intake, cold air bypass, headers, 2 1/2" exhuast routed through 3 chamber flowmasters and no cats (my state dont care about em) larger injectors and 55MM throttle body, Ed Wright reprogramed my OB1 computer and she will eat a Mustang GT by 8 car lengths in the 1/4 mile. The best part is at 70MPH under cruise control she gets 25MPG and is so so comfortable and corners like a dream. Damn Chevy for making that new little dickless impala.

What kind of cars do you own and/or drive? What do you think of them? Pros and cons? I drive a silver 2002 Volkswagen Golf. I LOVE my car, mostly the way it looks, I have a soft spot for hatchbacks. Its so much fun to drive, corners amazingly well, and can haul an amazing amount of stuff. It also gets amazing gas milage. My only complaint is how slow it is, because the engine is so small. The car goes 0-60mph in 10 seconds, which is slower than my mom's Dodge Grand Caravan. So its pretty embarassing on that standpoint.

What kind of cars have you owned in the past? What did you think of them? Why do you not have them anymore? I have not owned any other cars, this has been it.

What kind of realistic car would you like to have and what kind of dream car would you like to have? I really want either one of the new VW Rabbits, or the new Ford Mustang GT. I'm actually leaning towards the Rabbit, I'm pretty loyal to Volkswagen now.

Butters, what about the GTI for around 20K can have 200+HP and its very nice looking, add a small cheater NOS kit of say 50-75HP and wella a killer good MPG fun car.

 

I'd LOVE to have the GTI, but the problem is the insurance is too much for me for that car...for me to be able to afford the insurance, I'd have to have the Rabbit instead.
