that upside down Christmas tree seriously offends my OCD sensibilities. It makes me feel extremely off-kilter. I could never have an upside down tree lol I'm at work but i'll try to post a picture of my tree later. It has 3 ornaments on it. I want to build a collection of ornaments that all have sentimental value instead of buying a bunch of cheap ornaments.
I totally agree! There isn't a single generic ornament on my tree. They were all special gifts, and collected throughout the years.
That's how my tree is too. Very personal. It's 3 weeks away. Why so angry? Stores are putting Christmas shit out in August. I don't think 3 weeks is very far away.
One year me and some friends got together at a friends house for xmas. His mom just passed away so he had no family and it was just us friends. We ended up getting drunk and decorated the tree with beer cans. It's not the ornaments that matter its the thought that counts.
There's no room in my house for a big tree and I'm not willing to move my Lego hospital and Lego lighthouse to make room for the tiny tree
Nice. I got our tree up tonight. I was going to take a picture but it looks exactly like the original one I posted so I figured there was no point.
i think my tree's in storage. i haven't actually bothered to put it up in a few years anyway. my roommate has a tree that he leaves up year round, but i don't care to take a picture of it right now.
That would be really neat to compare. It would also make interesting art work to take the same tree each season and frame them.
I'm starting to see people trying to squeeze huge trees on the trains, I need to set up mine (i have a small white one). I don't know how I feel about cutting down a real tree just to look at in December and then just throw it away. Seems like a waste of a tree that could be used for some better purpose or just left alone to live.
