I have been wanting and finally found a movie from 1981 called "Savage Harvest" - One of the BEST movies of its kind..... Like NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET with Lions.... Seems like it wasnt released on VHS (Or anything) very much.....

Its from Japan and has jap subtitles... Most Japan releases are english with japanese subtitles...

I dont care about the subtitles,I havent seen this in about 30 years and I wanna see it..

I ordered it a couple weeks ago and just got it today :)

    What did you finally find?

I was asked during fellowship what film I would recommend for film night at the church. The two I came up with were STARMAN and RESURRECTION.

I recently found an old VHS tape of STARMAN. It was pretty fun watching it after 30 years.

With the internet there are no longer those “finally found movies”

But there are movies I’ve forgotten the title to and have recently found such as Charming Billy (1999) about a seemingly normal guy in the Midwest who goes on a killing spree,
climbs a water tower with a high-powered rifle and takes shots at passers-by.

I don't blame you for saving those old VHS tapes they used to cost a fortune.

The cheapest tapes back then were like 29.95

It's amazing how durable they are. A DVD can get a few scratches and it's done.

Zachariah, the First Electric Western, but I said that in another thread.

As an aside I did recently find the old Warner Bros. cartoon Little Blabbermouse. Not on Youtube but Dailymotion had it.
And Hotel de Paree, an old western TV show.

    Heheheeeee!

That movie sounds similar to the movie "Ghosts and the Darkness". (About some killer lions in Africa)

You should have recommended 'Lamb' (1985).
The story was set in Ireland and everyone was happy about it being filmed there. Unfortunately no one had read the book.
Just as filming started, the government realized that the story involved a priest and a young boy and the crew ended up on the next plane back to London.
The film was finally shot on location in Tintagel (Cornwall UK)

"The Siege of Firbase Gloria" is a classic Vietnam war movie with my favorite actor R. Lee Ermey! Waited forever for this to finally get released on DVD. R. Lee makes any movie great, I swear!
