Also, "Rain King" by Counting Crows; that's not even a good one though. I thought about "Riders on the Storm" from the Doors, but rain isn't explicitly in the title, though storm implies rain...
so ahh, you don't mean songs to make it rain? (you do that by teasing spiders anyway) there was something by melony, "little sisters of the sun, lit candles in the reain, fed the world on oats and raisens, candles in the rain" most of my thoughts and music about rain is about welcoming it. i made a little thing playing with an analog synth sim a long time ago on a different machine, called it "cat in a rain storm" catinarainstorm by themnax (burried so far back in my gallery i had to send out a search party to find it) there are longer and much better symphonic works i've no idea where i got them from, set in rain storms with the rain coming down in the background, oh and there's the famous steam under thundering skys, which is a railfan audio recording from way back in the 60s i think it was. there have been some lovely filks on riders in the storm too. "condos for rent, condos to buy, ... the ghost yuppies in the sky ..."
Just walk away Renee You won't see me follow you back home Now as the rain beats down upon my weary eyes For me it cries Just walk away Renee You won't see me follow you back home Now as the rain beats down upon my weary eyes For me…
