Yes I've definitely not had the "princess" life as much as I say I have. =p

 

Stuck between the time i can take break and when its way past the time i want to take break. Cant go now because we might have to shut down in a half hour. But if another truck comes it will be an hour and a half or more before i can take break.

 

As i was writing that last post i was thinking how great an invention this thing we are using is. Do you know how much ink i would have wasted with all the backspacing im doing. And on top of that all the white out i would have to use because typewriters dont have a backspace button

 

yes...not to mention all the time waiting for the letters to arrive between us all

these threads would take years

buddy needs help raising the house another cinder block to level it out.....today is beam building day....probably help if I was an actual carpenter.........but I hold a mean tape measure

dude is a life friend...since we were 10ish?....45 years friendship with only a few minor scrapes...

Why do I keep having dreams I don't need... It's not helping with the sleep schedule.

 

I cant help but think that if rolling actually said he was raising a building then i wouldnt know what he was doing with it. Raising it or razing it...huge difference there.

 

Sounds like they are actually raising it... adding another level of cinder block.

 

Oh yeah he did say that but when he said today is beam day i was just thinking he was building one.

 

havnt left yet....behind schedule....yes we are building one of the beams today and inserting it under the house....

spot is already knocked out...hopefully it will slide in no problem....buddy isn't an engineer but he has been in charge of hundreds of stage builds and scaffold builds....some quite large

i havent killed myself or anyone else, so thats something. just busy. might as well be distracted by shit that needs to be done.
did get to go see Steve Miller Band and Journey the other night, pretty awesome, louder than it needed to be for journey, but steve miller band had their levels right. tower of power opened, they were loud too, but have good horns.

i couldnt justify the cost of a concert t-shirt, our tickets were pretty steep. im not spending $40 on the crappiest look ing concert tshirt, i will go home and make my own, hand painted/ embroidered and shit.

hes attempting to give up the drink entirely for now. hes grumpy as hell, and is confused by his physical reactions to the absence of alcohol. all normal reactions. his body is craving all the calories hes missing, and hes even more grumpy when hes hungry. i dont know how long it will take for him to balance out. progress though.
