Hey, where's ROLLING? I don't like it when guys take off in the morning to raise a house or somesuch, "but it's okay because we got big jacks" and then don't show up at night saying "rough day, time for a doob and a cushy chair..." Was he gonna be gone for a few days, or what?

We had the stereo updated in my sister's car today. She brought me because I am "the car guy". She ended up with an extra warranty they didn't mention to her. I did think it was odd when they said they would replace the speakers if she blew them. I managed to get a refund.

hubby stopped drinking a few days ago, im not sure when exactly. they have all been rough days, lots of withdrawal symptoms. today seems better. heres hoping for a better tomorrow. im so very glad hes making an effort.

we got cable, and a landline. paying less, because we slowed down our internet. its barely noticeable. kids sleeping over with his grandparents. hubby is at work. im lonely and my brain wont shut up. bleh.

 

upgraded the sat.. but I heard the verizon is working again, Im not willing to go back.. If I keep the landline, Ill have dial up case I need it. but the landline alone cost twice as much the sat. swaggy doobs, just not cutting it.

ok, I'm just going to go ahead and be stupid...but what I saw in that little ghostly pic looked like a torso, complete with navel, but no head...like the pic cut off at the head part. Is that what I was supposed to see?

I'm so glad he's quitting. My late husband was an alcoholic, which eventually took his life at the grand old age of 42.

The only time he managed to quit drinking was during a 2 1/2 month period when he smoked weed with me.

His so-called best friend couldn't bear it until he started drinking with him again. Let's just say to this day I can't stand him, the best friend...I know, I know...it wasn't bestie's fault. That doesn't change the fact of how I feel.

 

The last few nights, I've been SLEEPING when "most" people do. Hence, I haven't been posting.

Well, I would wake up late, drop in here, and read stuff. Since I didn't have anything worthwhile to add...not that I usually do but I just post anyway ...I just logged back out and actually went back to sleep! YAY!!!

Sleeping good through 2 nights is an anomaly for me. No wonder I'm up and posting now.

 

Onto my third beer here.

 

My new boss man (he's probably in his late 20's) gives me a fist bump everyday that we work at the same time.

When the most evil of managers recently left, it left the old regime not knowing how to act. The worse of them are dang sure are put off and out by the fact that he LIKES me! LOL! They have to act right and it may be the FIRST time (ever) psycho manager has felt like she has to control herself. Oh my, I LOVE it!

He is also giving me Sunday mornings OFF - all Sunday mornings it seems - and it isn't the Big F'ing Deal it seemed to be when evil was running the show.

I think I may go make some firecrackers...:2thumbsup:
