It's gets so itchy/scratchy after just a couple of days too, such a chore... I change my minds, I think we now prefer just a neatly trimmed hedge.

You see, I'm a lexiwhore, and one of my greatest pet peeves is the confusion over the use of the word, 'padeophile'. Spelt the way I just spelt it, it means someone that has a sexual attraction to children. Spelt the American (i.e. semi-literate) way, 'pedophile', it means someone who has a fetish for feet ('paed' being Latin for child, 'ped' being Latin for foot). As a consequence, foot fetishism is known as 'podophilia'; 'pod' also means foot, but does make the word sound rather made up.

I'm sorry I had to inflict that little quirk on you, I really can't help myself *twitches* I feel better now...

Another of my (unrelated) pet peeves is the general misunderstanding surrounding the whole concept of, and psychology behind paedophilia... but that's a conversation for another day...
