once upon a time there were three bears who lived in the woods - Pugs I ; Pugs II and Pugs III - they were all very similar and very goofy - they had three cousins called gummy I and gummy II and gummy III who were all very very very intelligent ; esoteric and noble creatures of the woods!! tbc
One day, along came a Sweet little gal, she loved bears and big bear hugs. However, the naughty bears stole her silk stockings, and paraded around the woods wearing them. Poor little Sweet gal, was left with the Wicked Witch called Spolo. She had long white hair, and beat poor sweet one with her broom, and cackled.........
Love the third and last? Hesitant..................shortened greetings Gentle murmurs................half shared smiles Only ever met in public........................... In those days of first beguiles I didn't want......................to rush into Some other................. broken dream So we only lit a social flame............. And talked of maybe schemes Our chaperons were always there Nurturing the lovers garden They knew just when to sprinkle on Some extra magic potion I'd never been a Don Juan Just a one off girl forever man So letting ego boundaries fall Was a half forgotten memory call It crept up one sunshine day Caught us unawares...................... We sat and talked as usual............about Life and loves and cares And then the unspoken question What step is next to take Our hands reached out The vows were out; no turning back this day © fitz

Adventures of a gweilo in the southern hinterland of China!! Big gong sounds!!! Magic always happens in HK – it’s a city of magic at a price! I would walk to work just across the quadrangle! – the wife was always at work at home – how to get the kids to school?? – we had the school addresses but they could be in Timbuktoo as far as we knew? For some strange reason or was it fate we either walked or taxied to the local shopping precinct positioned immediately beneath a towering block of concrete called middleclass living – the Mei Foo flats [containing what we were later to discover or friends for life!] but for now just one popped out. It is always easy to spot a non-chinese in HK – no black hair and very tall!! And so it was we ‘bumped’ into Lyn who was a HK/English housewife with Chinese hubby and kids who was dawdling about ready to bump into us! We magnetized and she informed us that getting kids to school was simple – join the ‘private minibus hiring system’ for getting kids to school and she would organize it. Magic potion number one. And so it was that the kids were whisked off to school each day picked up from home for a fee ; the wife was available for the shopping club plus occasional tennis and I was off to bring in the bread! called a HK Public Light Bus - any guesses why ??- CG can go first!!
called a HK Public Light Bus - any guesses why ??- CG can go first!! Not a clue???? Colour???? Tell me more.
because it's LIGHTER in weight than a bus? and carries far less people.. They are funny little run abouts and have no specified routes - just go where they feel like and some passengers get a bit annoyed cause they want the quick way home!
Peepers, stalkers and minders. When I was about 12, my bedroom was on the ground floor of my parents large Victorian house. I chose the so called Breakfast room, as it was larger than my parents master bedroom, and I wanted a large room. My bedroom window looked over the back courtyard that led to the garden. We had a back gate, that was always open, along with the back door that was always unlocked. It was just that way back then, everyone left their doors unlocked. I was in my room one afternoon, wishing my boobs would grow, suddenly a man's face appeared at my window!!! I was so scared as I was alone in the house. Tbc
Suddenly he was behind me!!!! Shh he said, I was looking for you Dad. I recognized from his voice, it was a guy my Dad had worked with in the Sudan. He was creepy!!!
