Do any ladies wear leggings on a regular basis?

From what I've observed, leggings seem to be a staple wardrobe item for many ladies. I bought a couple of pairs of leggings from the GUESS outlet store while I was in Vegas, and I thought they looked good when I tried them on in the store, but now I just don't think they suit me at all.

I mean, I get that they are suppose to be worn casually, but maybe I'm just not a leggings kind of girl? Or maybe I'm not choosing the right top to wear with them?

    Thoughts?

Around here that’s all they wear from October through May.

From June through September they revert to wearing shorts, the shorter the better (in most cases)

I have a few pairs that I wear sometimes in colder weather. I find they only look good with longer tops. A lot of my tshirts look weird with them.

I have a few pairs, but I mostly just wear them around the house.
They were really a big thing a while ago, but I am glad to see the trend slowly dying.

Edit: oh and when I'm working out too, sometimes. If I can't find anything else xD

I find them itchy, don't care for them or anything tight on my skin for that matter. I like loose, flowy things...is flowy a word?

Leggings aren't always bad. I've seen leggings that I thought were tasteful, but I will say this. Not always. I saw a girl last night at Whole Foods and was actually disappointed that she thought this was the appropriate venue for leggings. To her credit she may have just come from or have been on her way to the gym. They look really sporty to me. I guess that's a good thing technically but I've never been a wearing-gym-clothes-outside-of-the-gym kind of guy. Wow, couldn't I have fit one more hyphen in there!

Leggings are not pants. Rule #1. Well, the only rule really.

I like wearing them with long shirts (should at least cover the booty), knee high or thigh high wooly socks, and boots. And I also like wearing shorts over them with high socks and boots, no long shirt needed in this case.

But this will probably be the last winter I wear them. They've had a good run.

I have a few pairs but usually only wear them when doing yoga at one particular place as they have really cold floors. I tend to wear a loose top when wearing them that I can tuck in when inverted.

I have seen some wear them that look really good in them. Probably more to do with body type and how the accessorise to go with them.
