So confused to as to why the legal age of sexual consent is 16 but if you were to have nude photos of a 16 or 17 year old, it would be classed as "child pornographer". Surely if the legal age of consent is 16, then you should be legally allowed to exchange sexual images with a 16 or 17 year old? Can anyone give me a better understanding of why this is? You're allowed to have sex at 16 and 17 with someone of any age, but if someone aged 18 has sexual pictures of someone aged 16 or 17 it is classed as child porn.
Age of consent depends by countries. Since the internet has no boarders then anything under 18 is considered child pornography somewhere...
That's my policy, but one must wonder how many 14yr olds out there, that are fully developed and for saying that they're 18? Then for sending out nude photos of themselves to someone over 18 for want of his attention. Now what ?......and my gut feeling is that the proof of it all, would depend on what she has said about her age, if anything. Still, ..... nothing ione can say, is a good defense if actual sexual contact was made. Maybe and maybe not, in most states. Then there's the question of responsibility, in asking her age, which I always do, if suspicious. This being the case, it should go both ways and not like women haven't been known to seduce young boys, although I never really had that joy, as a youngster.
