People waited in line for hours today. We have a nice little tourist economy now. For years the stoner paradise has been Amsterdam but we have more tolerant laws then them now. So I wonder if more Americans will just come here. For Europeans Amsterdam will still be easier.
So. Fucking. Jealous. I live in KC though, I definitely foresee myself making that day long trip in the near future
This is completely dumb on my part but it recently occurred to me why my son decided to go to college in Colorado.
I would truly be surprised if Colorado did not see a sharp increase in "tourism". yay Colorado :2thumbsup: If it weren't literally on the other side of the US, I would seriously consider what steps I'd need to take to move there...to hell with visiting.
Fuck, I grew up in Denver, smoked my first joint, lived there for 26 years... and now they legalize it! sheesh
That's what I did!! arty:Actually, been here for a little while now.......but it was a big part of the reason I came back.
It's been years since I partook, have time off think after the weather clears, may just have to go see what all this is about. The prices seem reasonable and good controlled quality, whats not to like? Read a report that states the first 2 days sales topped 1.5 m,the state expected 300-500 in tax revenue the 2cd year, they are thinking more(hope they put toward education)this could be a win win for everyone, until the politico fuck it up.
