To be a teacher. Which Zeppelin member is touring as we speak (and is in my town tonight)? (this should be easy!)
Robert Plant (and if you dont go see him your REALLY crazy) Where was Led Zeppelins last American show at?
So still left: The name of Plant's and Bonham's pre-Zep band. Your right Madcrappie - but it was just the half ...
Well, if no one else is going to answer.. The Band Of Joy ...and also Hobstweedle but that wasn't with Bonzo.
Next one... (since I was thinking 'bout The Band Of Joy - correct) Another flakey one, but one which might offer a subject to discussion. (By the way, I think Nata's got thrown up a lot of interesting subjects as well, who will open a thread about them?) Fate of Nations - Which of the songs might be related to Plants experiences.
I'm not that into the solo stuff, I'm all about Zeppelin. So, i'll leave that one to someone else. :H
Here is the answer to Green Shades Q: Well there are a few but the main ones are: "I believe" which is about the death of Plant's 6 year old son Karac. Such a sad tune... And a lot of people say "29 palms" is about Plant's break up with singer Alannah Myles.. It's just a rumor though... I'm too lazy to come up with a question right now.. it's Saturday and I'm going out with my bestfriend.. yay! I love this thread so I hope it's nice and juicy when I get back! hahaha Great job, everyone! ps: I'm hypnotized by your siggy, Jim! Zeeeuummmm.. lol
Very good! Though it's the first time I hear about "29 Palms" being about breaking up with Alannah Myles. I thought rather of "Colours of a Shade" Where do we now put up the thread on these subjects ? I was thinking about some place which is not that overrun like the music forums but then, this might require some supporter, or some group... I don't know. Anybody a suggestion?
Yeah, 29 palms is supposedly about Alannah Myles.. "It comes kinda hard when I hear your voice on the radio... Leading me back down the road that leads back to you"... Yeah, a Page/Plant tour topic would be cool (even though they're not touring together right now. LOL).. I am however, going to see Robert live this summer.. yay! July 6!
I mean about their '95 and '98 tours. Peaks and troughs and all that jazz.. I was watching one of the P&P shows from October '95 the other day... They really hit form then.. Playing the better than some of the Zeppelin perfomances of the latter days! :H
*AHEM* Where are you boys n' gals? I guess it's up to me to rescue this thread from the depths of the music forum.. LOL Yeah, Jim! They were both in excellent shape! Jimmy was playing amazingly well and Robert still had the same enthusiasm as in the 70s! They certainly had/have chemistry together! Here is simple Q: Why didn't Plant receive any songwriting credits on "Led Zeppelin I"? (And please don't tell me "uuuh.. cause he didn't write anything?" HAHA )
